Moshchevaya Balka arrowheads?
Were there arrowheads found with the MB bow? If so what kinds were there? Does anyone have any pictures of these?

There is one arrowhead listed in "Die Gr?ber der Mo?cevaya Balka" which catalogues the MB finds in the St. Petersburg Hermitage collection. The shafts have had their heads removed. This head is a tanged flat broadhead, not as wide and with the widest point further back than the later common Mongolian type. It is shown in Fig 138, but I will not post the image as it is copyright.
Other types in use at in the region at that time where three bladed tanged and bodkins. A couple are illustrated here in an article on bows and arrows of the Alans:

Thanks Andrew
That was just the kind of information I was looking for.
Do you know if the bodkin(s) were also tanged or were they socketed?
Thanks,
Evan

I looked at the picture on that site again and now see that both the tri-blade, and the bodkin appear to be tanged, though I am still interested to know if anyone has heard of any evidence for socketed arrowheads being used in that area/time.
