Quick question on names of parts of bows.
Hi everyone,
I am new here and have spent some time going through the posts on this site trying to get as much information on horn bow building while I wait for my supplies to arrive before beginning on my first horn/wood/sinew bow.
My question is:
What are the different parts of the bow called? I know the tips are the siyahs but ive seen a few other names thrown around for different sections of the bows. For example do the bending part at inner limb have particular names etc
I know its a lot of work but could someone spare the time to draw a quick sketch highlighting the different areas, a really quick sketch would be great.
Kind Regards
David

Thanks again Dusan
