The Issyk Golden Warrior

This is a statue in Almaty, Kazakhstan of an archaeological find. The image is of a huge, genie-like guy armed with bow and arrow. The actual find of the Issyk warrior was of a woman, 5' 2" tall. She is called the golden warrior because of the suit of gold scale armor she was buried in.

The other image is of a typical fantasy reproduction of a nomad bow available in the bazaars. Am still looking for an ancient Kazakh bow. -j-
