New book on Turkish bows

This is to announce a new book I have written: "Ottoman Turkish bows, manufacture & design", full color, 196p, ISBN #978-0-9811372-0-9. It can be ordered from: www.ottoman-turkish-bows.com
After some 25 years of making these bows and instructing many people about the construction of Turkish and other horn bows, I thought it would be the time to put all these info on paper. Most of the content is about construction with color illustrations and detailed descriptions of the process step-by-step. Key paragraphs from the "Telhis-i Resail-i Rumat" by Mustafa Kani are discussed and explained and the Turkish methods compared with others and with my own observations. The chapter on finishing and decoration is there as well with pictures of richly gilded new bows. There are over 120 color images, including many pictures of old bows from museums in Turkey, plus a number of black and white pictures and drawings, also tables and graphs. The chapter on old Ottoman bows and on design will help to classify the different types and explain the mechanics. Less experienced bowyers should rather go directly to the construction chapter, since some knowledge of the basics and the terminology is required. any shere action is more greet ,the limit shere aroused your interest/observe/solve，so you fail is must need, maybe same way the archery, done a hammer-harden of your head and heart or Zen， if you find the way you will got more pride and happy. you will not take it as a thing very easy got it , i can post some return(same process and result as a my video) of my first video of koreanbowyer at 2009 or later,a few big talk is need in any where :D this will make more bubble when it break the crisis born :D
