Interesting technique on youtube
I have seen this video on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TONgjKsQEMo
Well, starting from min. 3:01 to 3:17 there are some old representations showing some korean archers in battle.
The position of the bow after shooting is unusual for korean technique.
This position is suggesting a loose grip and a twist made by the bow in horizontal plane, something like japanese (kyudoka) archers do.
I have never seen any korean archer shooting like that and even in this movie the guys shooting with modern bows did not let the bow twisting in the hand.
It can be a war technique for heavier bows, much than modern tagert bows used in present?
I have a strong bow and this technique is working well with my bow, I have the sensation that the arrow is little bit faster but the bow is difficult to shot with consistence.

Ginny , some of bows look to me like hornbows. I doubt if modern Korean bow stand long time this so long brace.
