I work vith fish bladers likewise, but i first soak bladers and then cut vith scissors.Its easier. And little longer time cooking...
the fish is Miichthys miiuy (Basilewsky) brown croaker，nibe croaker，roncadore

i has try use the machine for make fruit liquid to hammer glue ,but it not shatter absolute, the glue dry on cloth will let it stand and more hard and elasticity, but it can not soak into the wood/sinew/horn,it is the un-break bladder' fiber, when add more water it is like milk , when water less it like the mike oil, and when something add many white deposit in bottom,it is differ to the glue boil it until honey

the last time of i make glue in 2 years ago,i try hammer,i put the bladder into cloth has hammer it, it is not a easy job make it , the cloth break, other article said use thin silk wring the soft blader,or hammer it in stone tools and lot test end of my limited money.......

yes , i has saw it and has do it , but i got more info is hammer it not same way like boil it
The fish itself makes a really good stew :D
the autoclave(pressure cooker0 the fish rather stew in the korean :D
and the last bladders glue i made it , the glue shrink on my hand and i suffer for it , and the glue dry in steel dish i can not use knife separate it , and it is can not dissolve in water or warm water, i add something the white deposit in bottom like the glue of korean bowyer brush glue to the horn
