I know this is off topic for the forum but I don't know who else to ask, you are the most well versed international community I am a part of:-P

I may be moving to Korea with my girlfriend in 2 years for a bit (might stay for 2ish years). I am currently training as a jeweler and a blacksmith/bladesmith. I know blades is a touchy subject in Korea, but I was wondering if there was any possibility of getting a job in some area related to these fields when I was in Korea. We would be in Sokcho, South Korea, and I am having trouble researching... if anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you!

When I first lived in Korea, back in '84, you could easily find a blacksmith (daejangjangi in Korean). There still are blacksmiths about, but not like before. Mostly, they make/repair farm tools. Here is a short video of one: http://www.culture.go.kr/culture_portal ... IA_IDX=927
