This damascus bows was made in India to this days. But i hear that no big quality . This can be a dangerous weapon even for archer(broken steel in draw...)
Somthing like this was ofered in net for sale. Its mostly for tourist, about 25-30 lb. from low quality damascus.But loking good, isn it ?

Mechwar, i understand that for you is most interesting bows from other countries, but i can say you, for us from all over the world is somthing like miracle yours Korean dont broke tradition in still living masters -hornbowyears vith yours fantastic hornbow.And in Korean museums is fue old war and hunting litlle bows vith dont open secret, how this litlle weapons (some vithaut horn (!) ) was made.

Sorry, Mechwar , mi english is bad - more then yours. :oops: I mean , you can more interesting about not only a clasic Korean hornbow , but historical older hunting and war Koran bows. Most of him was wood composite bos vit no horn ...
I have a nice example of one of these bows. It comes from near Hyderabad in India and the steel work is known as 'Bidri'. The strings are interesting: made of silk inter-woven with liver thread.

Stephen, youre bow sounds very interesting, could we see a pic? I'm interested in Indian bows. Have you shot it? how does it shoot?? or does anyone else have experience how steel bows perform?
