What do you think about this bow? It is cheap and made of carbon fiber.
Does anyone have this bow? I need honest review.

Hi Rapsod
I have a mind 50 and I think it is a very good bow for HA:mine is 60#

the handle(riser) is a litle bigger than SKB so for me it is more convenient for my hand

I shoot with thumb draw without ring

in france mind 50 is 135? and skb is 110? so it is better to take mind 50

The price is everywhere almost the same.

Is it fast bow? Is it made of carbon fiber?
jak
it is made with wood and carbon....and it is very fast

it is smooth to draw even at 60# but for HA 30 to 35# is enough

I have hwarang corean bows and it is the same thing and they are very good if you take the arrows out of a quiver.

I have also some well knowed "hungarian "horsebows and I dont like at all:one of them call"mongol" is done with metallic limbs under the snake skin!!!!!!what a pity

for me ,I said "for me" the best bows are saluki bows :I have 5 of them:3 horn bows and 2 fiberglass ranging from 32 to 72#
saluki have now horsebow at 400$(the "litle giant") so I recommend it to begin else mind 50 (or skb if you have small hand)
that is our "philsophy" at HA french club "Eponarc"

I am more in ninja mode right now ;)

How width is handle? In SKB is 1".
jak
for mind 50 the width is the same 1" but the thickness is also 1"(leather handle) so it is better for my hand

the lenght are the same for M50 and skb: 50" so it is convenient for ninja...and both are black

Not only ninja. It is more like this comic book http://cowboyninjaviking.blogspot.com/

I am in some ninja/viking/jedi mode ;)

Black bow with red stickers. Can you destick them? Black bow
and white arrows with white feathers. I am sick I know.

I forget to ask very important question. What arrow spin do you
use with this bow. I am probably going to order 60#. In real world
(28") the bow is 54-55#. I read somewhere that is good to take
shaft with 10# lower spine for SKB.

I used this calculator http://heilakka.com/stumiller/ and it show that
I must use shafts with 55# spine. If I buy stiff shafts I am going
to end with very long arrows and I don't like very long arrows.

I recently got one off the auction site.
40# at 30''.
I really like it; no handshock, fast cast for the weight.
It looks a bit more modern than my Hwarang, but it is very very nice for the price I paid, 149$US.

A few weeks I bought a 45# Mind-50 and it really is a nice bow. I am using the Sasanid thumbdraw with an improvised leather tab attached to my middle finger. While releasing I try go perform that special twist, but the Mind-50 has a fairly small handle so it is not very easy to make the bow swing around my bowhand.

My draw length is about 29# so I bought 11/32 shafts spined from 45#-50# (cut down to 75 cm, 4" parabolic fletchings, 125 grain arrowhead). Hit rate is now about 55% on a 40 cm fita target at 18 m so there is some room for improvement...
