What kind of equipment you have used/made for cooking long pieces of wood?

I use one of those long polypropylene flower pots made for windows or balconies with two immersion heaters.

Dual voltage ones seem to have 4 times the power with 220v than
they have 110v.

That was a good idea. Now I only have to find local seller, or at least on inside EU.

Yes, something like that. I think it's 1000W each.

Four times the power is correct, that's Ohm's law. I wouldn't use 380V for even more power though ;)

I ordered mine from amazon. I have been looking in shops, but couldn't find any until I was told that they were forbidden in the gastrononmy due to hygiene issues and are therefore no longer sold.
The ones I got were cheap (well, considering the utterly simple technology probably not) but the downside is that they have no power control.
