Best quiver for horse archery?
I would love to know what the general concession is on what is the best arrow quiver for horse archery? I have made a some what Magyar quiver and am happy with it while on the ground but I would like to know which is thought best by those that do shoot from horseback.
Thank you
Thank you
Duncan,
It depends on what you want to do on horseback. If you are hunting, a closed quiver like the Hungarian is fine. If you are shooting in target competitions, a short open quiver like a Turkish or Manchu one would be better.
The most important thing is to get the angle right for your style of shooting. Your hand should automatically drop onto the arrows. You should never have to look at your quiver.
