Hornbow in progress...

Now I have just built up the thin coats of glue on the core and am ready to apply the sinew. It's going to be hard to wait for 6 months though!

Yes it is grooved, guess the photo just doesn't show it very well. I've put the first layer of sinew on now and pulled in some extra reflex.

Not a bowyer myself Mike, but I don't think it's a reason to panic. I'm sure there have been others that are not reflexed into perfect symmetry, even beyond this early stage. A bit of filing, scraping etc should sort it later.
There is no need to worry about the symmetry at this stage. The limbs will be later adjusted when the finished bow is tillered.

I have a similar "problem". Now I'm calm. thanks for the advice Adam.
Yes thanks for the advice! Phew! I was hoping that it may be possible to correct later.
The further I get along with this 1st hornbow the more I can feel my attentions being drawn away from wooden bows(at least for the time being). I've sourced some hop hornbeam and field maple from which I am going to make some more cores.
