storing glue.
Hello, can someone help me? First of all this is m first attempt. I have just precoated my Korean style horn bow with its first layer of isinglass before sinewing. now what, i have this pot of glue that needs storing. Do i just toss it in the frig or leave it out to harden. Also when reusing or reheating do i just add water until it reached a usable consistency? Lastly consistency??? any thoughts? As much info would help. thanks
I suggest you let it dry and crush it. Then dissolve it in water again when you need it.

For longer periods I deep freeze it until I need it again. But if you are in the process of coating the horn strips you will need it every some hours in a period of ca. 3 days to put on the successive layers. In this case I prepare only a small portion of thin glue and keep it stored in the fridge...
