Qing inspired arrows
Many may remember the rabbit fork arrows used by the Manchu. Well, I had the idea to make something like that but much, much basic and crude. I used nails, a wooden head and glued a horn point. I tried to make something more complicated with the horn but I failed badly, so in the end I left a point on top. I think the result is on the funny side, not a serious replica. If you look in front of the heads, the nails form a cross which doubles the hitting area.
I also, I put use to some fake eagle feathers and I made an arrow inspired by the Qing huge arrows. I like the final result.

Perhaps the hooks could have been farther back on the shaft. I have been tempted to make some to see how they flew. I was present when some hunters were practising with rabbit callers, making a strange breathy whistling sound that imitates a distressed rabbit and attracts others. The pitch was quite high and I should be able to duplicate it with a small whistling head.
