how to treat distortion of horn strips
90% natural waterbufello horn is not straight,they are little distorted more or les,i ask some chinese expert of horn bow maker (also 30 years of horn workers)how to treat distortion of horn strips,they reply me very simple way:
heat proper on the part of distortion of horn strips till hot and soft and then turn around opposite direction,if temperature is right,the strips can't return and fix new shape always.
note:don't use fire to burnt it,just to use electric stove or carbon stove to heat it till soft and then fix 1 end and turn around another end,some excise will let you become expert,not difficult at all.

right,anyway don't use fire heat it directly,otherwise strips will burnt.if in right temperuture,the strips can't return to old shape and form new shape always.jkekoni wrote:
