Bow release vibration
HI Guys!
I just recently bought a new bow, and wanted to ask if any of you have the same problem as I am noticing regarding the vibration of the bow upon release. It seems to be vibrating quite a bit and causing a bit of elbow pain (similar to tennis elbow). I have shortened the string about 3cm and it is still vibrating quite a bit. Anyy thoughts or suggestions on how to reduce this?

You could try a thicker string and a heavier arrow. The vibration is energy left in the bow. Sometimes this is made worse by the way you grip the bow. Pushing with the skin between the thumb and fore finger while pulling with the middle, ring and little fingers can also reduce vibration.
The bow can also be out of balance. What you can do about that depends on the shape of the bow and the size of the handle. What kind of bow is it?
