Hello I am sure people have discussed this and after soaking I dont see any issue in it. Can you reuse the sinew of a failed bow. I apply sinew in one long piece much like in a Korean horn bow but have never attempted to reuse. can someone tell me the process in doing this. I generally wouldnt bother but now that I have committed myself I am running low on resources. Thanks Victor

I haven't tryed reusing the sinew itself, but I have reused the sinew backing for glue. I ran the bow under hot water in the bathtub a little and just started pulling the backing off. Once I got it up at one end, I just ran water between where the backing was coming off and the wood and it just started melting the bond between the two and lifting off pretty good. But it did pull some wood off too. So the bow wasn't saveable.
