Thumb Ring with Left Side Window Bow
I have a question about using thumb ring with a trad bow that has a window on the left side. Will the arrow fly correctly? This is the bow:

You can place arrow without problems on right side... :D
I have tested this with a compound bow. The standard window will work with a thumb draw that puts no pressure on the nock of the arrow. This can be accomplished by turning the drawing hand outwards or by using the Mongolian technique of locking the thumb well below the arrow so there is no contact.
With a very good release the arrow needs only a small adjustment in aiming. With a more ordinary release, more adjustment is necessary. I found the converse is also true. I can shoot with three fingers on the right side of the bow and since I am used to aiming using a thumb ring I have to make only a small adjustment. I think this means that what you are used to has more influence that individual technique when aiming with arrows on the opposite side of the bow than normal.
