current flight shooting record
Dear all,
Could someone teach me the actual flight shooting record for composites:
I found differing informations between 300 and 500 m,
one website claims 508 m (as of march 2010) in Hungary :?
+ which type of equipment was used ?
Thanks alot ! 8)

What kind of composite and what weight range?
Uli, I assume you are referring to this document:

As far as I know this distance was shot with a biocomposite bow made by Grozer especially for the event.
An even larger distance was achieved by Harry Drake and Don Brown in 1995 with a primitive bow (about 566.5m):

I remember trying to find more information on this bow and on the bowyer but I had little success. I assume the shot was made in US, but the performance is not present in the US flight records:

The US Flight records shows Daniel Perry as the record holder for the Unlimited Primitive Complex Composite with about 476m.
