Why not either draw farther or use an arrow that matches the drawlength?
Kviljo
Nice! - both bows as shooting.

That flight shoot looks very enjoyable, hehe. Lots of shouting and arrows pointing high!

Where there any interesting results?

I'm not sure I follow. When are the bows supposed to shoot best?
Patrick Menzies
I meant that if the bow shot 200m in July is it supposed to shoot better in the cold or worse because the bow becomes stiffer?
mikekeswick
Better in the cold - materials become stiffer without increase in bow limb mass.

Dear Mr. ?zek,
I genuinely have difficulty in grasping your motivation and the purpose of your secrecy.
I wish you could be more careful and not give an impression that you intend to hide some details just like old ottoman master bowyers would.

I just made a basic online research in Turkish and read that one month after joining Atarn, in March 2009 , in a Turkish archery forum you were asking if the bark or the center side of the wood stave will be used for applying the horn. This clearly shows that you became a member of Atarn to collect some useful information just like me and so many other beginners and new members.

I urge to point out for recently joined members who read this post, Atarn has a very significant potential to help new beginners to improve their knowledge and skills. So many new members including myself are gaining courage to attempt to make a bow since the most of the members of Atarn do not mind sharing their knowledge.

With all my respect
