historical chinese bamboo arrows
I want to read more details about the construction of Chinese bamboo arrows (from the Ming dynasty and before, pre-1644 AD). Besides Stephen's "Chinese Archery," are there any sources that people recommend reading? Secondary sources are good, but I'm particularly interested in primary sources such as (1) excavation reports and photos from archaelogical sites, and (2) old Chinese texts.
There are pictures and measurements of Han dynasty bamboo arrows in Yang Hong's book on Chinese weapons. They may be a bit early for you.
