"Crab leg" bows in Central Europe?

Hi guys.

Got pointed to an older atarn post with a gent asking about Crab-legged bows as shown on Serbian wall paintings. Hadn't thought much of it before, but realized that one or two of the better depictions of Cumans seem to show something similar.

It occurs to me that in type it's not that dissimilar to the sort of bow Grozer calls his "Crimean Tatar" bow... and geographically, that would be a historical fit. I'm curious as to what the characteristics of such a bow would be, and if it's even constructible...

Any ideas?

tnx,
