Images from another world
Hello,
I post some images that Peter Cua has send me almost "in real time". Images has been taken during a "jungle trek" in the past two or three day.
I hope you will enjoy them, even if they're not all related to archery.
Greetings
Gianrico

The end of the trip
Peter and I are going to do this trek in November, with a view to organizing a tour for ATARN members next year. We expect to be able to look at bamboo technology and traditional tribal archery arts and crafts.
As many people may come from the US and Europe, we may also include a China leg on the tour.
If anyone is keen on coming out to join us in November, I guess it's no problem as long as they are prepared to fix up their own travel arrangements to Manila.

we are not ready yet for the possible tourist arrival for such adventure in november - not so fast for such an invitation at least for philippines, i would say january next year onwards for serious guiding and programs by group - on tribal archery and the tribal cultural visitation related with primitive archery culture.- ive been going back and forth jsut to arrange with these people.
we got a lot of things yet to discuss and survey first and set a program .but as you can see thru the picture you have a chance to peep on something nice for primitive archer to enjoy.
trekking is for the purpose to experience what vines and bamboo one can get from rainforest to apply it to their bow - from palm, bamboo to glues and buff horns materials. .etc. to experience century trees like these are jssut 'icing on the cake'
in the last leg or beginning leg of the trek we may as well jump on to the small waterfall for some paleo picnic and swim as well. that would be fun.! be sure to bring your swimwear and jungle hammock -if you want to go that far.
but i dont know for sure what kind o f dream cultural tour most foreign traditional archer might have dreamt of ever since to experience for 3rd world countries like us. ? when you come you tell me and we will outfit such tour with that in mind catering to such specific fraternity. :D
