Bracing the Korean Horn Bow

Ok so I've got this Korean Horn bow. Classic C-shaped unstrung. Have heat box and tepeliks for bracing. Also have bracing board like they use in Korea.

So have leaving in hatbox you take it to an electrical heating device to really loosen the sinew. My question is, for how long should you take it to the electrical heating device and how warm should it feel? When bracing it over the tepeliks it seems like it should be supple like a rubber pipe.

Also is it possible to simply leave it out in the sun for warming right before bracing? If so how long on say a 90 degree day?

Please let me know your experiences w/ bracing Korean horn bows or even highly reflexed c-shaped horn bows that require these extra steps. Thanks.

Heating a finished bow for bracings is a bad idea. I introduces string follow and can ruin the balance of limbs and the tiller, already well adjusted by the bowyer. The bowyer must have done all corrections with heat when stringing the bow for the first time before finish. Once the bow is strung, a little warmth may be needed for small adjustments only.

I feel ordering a hornbow without proper instructions (especially a Korean hornbow) is really a very bad idea.
It?s very easy to make things wrong.
You can put the bow on the hotbox to remove moisture but it needs to be cold by the time you brace it. After braced (which is a really hard work) it needs to be heated at key parts to be adjusted. Then cooled and ready to use. It?s a complex process and you really need instructions from the bowyer to be able to use the bow.
