Barreled shafts, tip 6mm to 9mm at thickest part (~2/3 length from tip); length 80cm, weight 32gramm.
with 58lbs Puta bow fly wonderful straight (no fishtailing) and fast.

Magnificent set! Is the shape of the shafts authentic? I'm impressed with the thinness of the front of them. Fantastic work!

Your decoration looks delicate. How heavy are the tips? How did you construct the nocks? Like this?

Kviljo: i think we all do........replikas 8)
Bj?rn: richtig! I spliced bamboo stick (<10mm diameter) on shaft end. not original, but long fibers, very elastic and easy to work out. tips are heavy, i did not measure the weight, but if i lay the arrow at its middle on my finger, its balanced.
Uli, Cem: what shall i say ..... thank you! these are the first ottoman(like) arrows i build! i finished last day before we met! i was to shy to shoot these vergines the first time in front of you.
if you remember, i visited a Kyudo-seminar in Vienna after our meeting; there i shot fifty arrows ..... i am sure: its somewhat like beginners luck................
