Turkish archery equipment on display in Hungary
I was just wondering if there are any larger collections of turkish bows and arrows on display in Hungary.
Can anyone recommend a museum or a castle where I might find such?

I do not know about larger collection on display of T?rkish bows in Hungary. The bows what ? saw was mostly Tatar bows. There is one on display in the National Museum and one in Eger. Two was years ago in Keszthely in the Festetics castle.
Maybe others know more.

Ottoman bows are on display in Military Museum in Belgrade in Serbia and i know about other ones in the depot as well as some Chinese bows.
Also, there's one in Zagreb, Croatia, labelled as Turkish bow although my opinion is that this bow was used by Croatians as part of Hungarian army in the battle of Mohacz in 1526 (arco alla turca, looks like Crimean Tatar bow).
So, if you are in Hungary, you can search also in Serbia and Croatia.
Best regards

Thank you, that helps. I have seen most stuff that is on display in Austria and was wondering if there was more close by.
I'm also curious what the guys who were in Dresden will publish here (hopefully).
Is there anything worth taking a trip to the Czech Republic or Slovakia?
