Bamboo for Bhutanese bow?

Anyone have any idea if it is possible to obtain bamboo suitable for Bhutanese bows?

Not to make this simple it would have to be able to get it into EU. EU has criminalized private imports of wood without official paperwork of heat treatment, so customs mail are likely to confiscate any wood import, and I think this does apply bamboo.

(I am not looking forward to buy this kind of bow.)

BS (bull shit?) bamboo looks like it is selling Moso. It has crappy inside and usually thin wall.
(It is good for bamboo backing and double bamboo bows)

They have 120-140mm category, but their product is 3m with ?75 minimum purchase. I would assume that it takes 150? with shipping (long packages are usually notariously expensive to ship, even if light) and I do not wish to store "kilometers" of bamboo.

Bamboojungle web pages do not have prices, so I guess that they
are more like a distributor than shop.
If you'd like to become a Guadua Bamboo distributor

No thanks. But If you know their resellers in EU, do tell me.
Me in Florida? I just go down the street and cut a couple culms from the stand there...

I only needed to drive 150km from capital to buy cheap (65? for 30, waste abt 40%) 10x45x1800 mm moso bamboo planks, and they are good for backs and bellies, but not for self bows.

The good news is that they are going to get more, the bad news it takes 3 months.

Sorry, not until the end of May.

End of may has been reached.

I have asked the situation. The email has not been answered.

The web show still shows out of stock.
