Bow draw weight
Wondering what the increase in draw weight you get for every inch over the stated draw weight @ 28 inches... Like on my newest bow a Saluki Crimean Tatar hybrid that is 64 pounds @ 28 inches .. What will my draw weight be at 30 or 31 inches ?
Here is the Tatar hybrid
Unstrung
Woow that's a hardcore synthetic bow. So much reflex. Tips and kasan look a lot like a horn bow's.
I dunno. I bought a fish scale, wasn't too expensive, haven't used it yet. You could ask Lukas Novotny? Or do the bathroom scale thing with a tillering tree or just a big board with a ridge and draw lengths marked...
don't know how close you'd get assuming the f/d curve is linear starting from 0 at 6" or something

If it's supposed to be able to take that draw pull it back and measure it. Couple of pounds per inch. It's not going to really matter what it is as long as you can pull it.
The increase in draw weight is partly an effect of limb geometry so it is not uniform among different bows.
Take Pat's advice. If Lukas is happy for the bow to be draw to the distance you wish, draw it and feel whether you are comfortable with it. Pounds only matter if you have to comply with a legal demand (like bow hunting laws) or if you are taking part in a contest. The other requirement, judging the spine for the arrow, is also a little experimental when shooting a static recurve like this bow.

I was wrong on the draw limits .. Lukas told me my bow is good to 30 inches...He also said that for each inch over the stated draw weight @ 28 inches to add 5 pounds of spine weight for the arrows...
