the wood has dry about 60 days, i am split it in cool winer, a fast split i do, when the wood has a slit , insert a wedging block , hold the wood attack down to the land surface( it like the stone hard), the wood will fast split to two block, i am try not insert a wedging block , only has a slit it can split fast also
i am not see the tradition bowyer's Bibliology ,can i sure it is my method?
i get the revelation from my member he was a carpenter but he not know this way :?:
from the split result, if the wood fiber turn sinuous and abrupt , or the skin of tree convex-concave , there are a nodal(疤节) inside the wood,
unfortunately, this wood is not straight, it is twisty from each side looks,it is a big trouble......

Did you take the correct dimension? You wrote 0,2- 0,3mm which means 2 or 3 hudredths of a milimeter!!! I think you mean 0,2 or 0,3 cm- 2- 3 mm.
