Scientific measurents based on archeological finds and Paintings?
Hey guys first time posting here.
Does anyone know a way to get my hands on construction plans of composite bows with all the measurements and stuff favorably based on archeological finds. I am especially interested in chinese bows (Yuan-, Ming-, Han-, Song-Dynasty)
Can you help me?

Are you going to build the bow that the plans are for?
If so, is this your first horn bow build?

Yes and yes
Then in that case, like me, you should start with the Moscheveya-Balka bow. A Chinese bow would probably be too advanced.
The plans for it are on the forum ''making bows, arrows and stuff'', Lurz' thread ''Plans for a Moscheveya-Balka bow'' they are based on graves from Russia.
Also, have you read Adam Karpowicz's book? If you haven't, you absolutely need to before you try to make a horn bow.
