if you soak sinew string in water,or use fingers take a few water to sinew strings, when it dry it can glue together, why? some glue on (or in )the sinew string surface workable?but when the sinew dry if you hit (pressure .wring. contortions) it ,it will turn white and lost strength

it is a good things or bad for backing a bow?

hi Jiao, every time animal parts like sinew or hide are in contact with water or another humidity, they start to dissolve collagen as the main substance of every hide-glue. Soak a few sinew-fibres with water, lay them down on your wooden workbench and the next morning it is glued a bit to the bench. But for to gain the real glueing-power you need to dissolve the collagen with heat too.
