Peter Cua has lost the email address of this archer in a system crash. Does anyone know him? If you do, please contact Peter: <[email protected]>

Hello Stephen,

I have already emailed to Peter Cua.

I want to take advantage now to thank you for all that I'm learning form atarn. It has been two years now visiting Atarn and enjoing, silently, all I see in this web.

Last december I just finished my first hornbow. A hornbow named Peter, because of the beautiful water buffalo horn strips that Peter Cua provided me. I was happy with it and was ready to post pictures of it in Atarn...then I saw the beautiful, beautiful, beautiful last bow from Alesio Francesco...and felt full of discouragement.

The call from Peter, through Atarn, has encouraged me again. I know I have a lot to learn. This is just my first hornbow and I'm sure I will make it better with my second hornbow. Anyway, my bow shoot arrows fast and straight. So, if you wish, you can see, in 40 pictures, the process of the bow in: http://photobucket.com/albums/e15/allave/

Excuse my poor English.

I wish you the best

Thank you for your kind comments. You have nothing to be ashamed about with your fine bow. I am sure that many of us will lear a lot from your experience.

A good looking bow. Excellent for a first try.

Have you braced it yet? Or did I not look far enough in the pictures.
Oops. '' I have looked onto the next page now.

It comes to a good shape. The pictures of you drawing only show a partial draw with the string on the string bridges. What was the full draw like?

Thank you Stephen. Thank you Bede.

The pictures shows the first try, so I was not very confident. Now I open the bow about 27 inches. This is my usual aperture. But some times I open it more, just one inch, and incredibly it gains a lot of speed without a sense of hardness. It's very sweet. Till now I have shoot more than 1000 times with it. I don't know how to shoot with the thumb draw, but sooner or later I will.

I think I made it very long...the siyah broad... the handle wide... All the faults are mine, but all that it has of succes I owe to all of you in Atarn. Really you are a fountain of knowledge.

Now I'm making a shorter hornbow. Let's see what happens.

Thank you for your support.
