Master Yang was a great story teller and brought to life the traditional craft of Chinese bowmaking for me when I heard him talk. His strong and vigorous personality impressed everyone who met him. His generosity in sharing his knowledge will always be remembered.

I want to offer my sincere condolences for Master Yang's family in Ju Yuan Hao. It is saddening that such a wise person in the craft has died. I didn't know Mr. Yang, but it seems that he was really enthusiastic about the craft and wanted to share his knowledge.

Although I have not post any message in our ATARN forum lately, but I constant come up to watch people's knowledgeable post from time to time. I read this bad new yesterday, it is sad indeed not only for Master Yang's family, but the Chinese traditional archery circle as well, as we lost a great man and a master.

I don?t know the old Master Yang personally, but I am good friends with Master Yang junior. I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest condolence towards Master Yang and his family. I sincerely wish him take care himself and family and carry on with this wonderful and important craft of Chinese archery.

Most importantly, for all of us who loves Chinese Archery, we should try our best to carry forward Chinese traditional archery even further, and the old master Yang would always lives in our heart. Ultimately, the old master Yang was the fist craft man who rescued Chinese traditional archery from the total death after experienced many unfortunate historical factors in the Chinese recent history, and he would always be remembered for that.
