Thumb Ring Size Survey

I would like to get an idea about the average hole sizes of teardrop-style thumb rings people use. In order for it to have the most validity, a relatively large sample would need to be collected. I will post this request on a few forums, and will also post the results later. The measurements would need to be of length (L) and width (W) of the thumb hole; although mm is preferred, inches will be fine, too.
