Crab bow

Does anyone know where I can find a reproduction of a Mughal style crab bow? I saw images of some originals and thought they looked really fascinating, but I've never heard of anybody making them.

Edit: Upon reflection, this probably belongs in the Where can I find section.

Alina,
Grozer sells an Indo-Persian bow that reproduces the strung profile of a crab bow, but its unstrung form is like an opened out crab bow. The open and the reflexed states are so different that some people think that they are different kinds of bows.

The Grozer bow is of modern materials and shoots reasonably, but not as well as his other bows. The heavy tips probably worked better on a horn and sinew composite. It is also about four or five inches longer.

Thanks, Bede. I never would have noticed the resemblance if you hadn't pointed it out, but I see it now. Of course his Indo-Persian bow is listed as "currently not available" so maybe it wasn't a hot seller.

Grozer's Indo-Persian bow design was always a poor performer (his own comment). I think that he has probably stopped producing it.
