Is this true that corean bow builders place tip of horn near handle because that part of horn strip is too britle?

opposite is true. The put the tip of the horn near handle, because it is most resistent. BTW not only Korean bowyers do so, but also the others as well

How most resistent? Thet part of horn is oldest.
