Reto, this is another bow,the decorations are similar to the other one.
Adam, were the decorations on original bows generally made with gold-leaf or using gold powder?

Gold powder. There is a mention in one of the books gold leaf was used as well for larger. flat surfaces.

Beautiful bow Alessi, I live the pattern in the horn, and the decorations are top notch. Have you ever done a hornbow with more reflex? The angled wedge in the nock is so well done, I admire your work.

Alessi, very, very nice bow...as all your bows.

Samuraiwarrior, when I will feel more confident I'll try to make bows more reflexed.

Mr. Alessi:

Both Turkish bows posted recently look impressive in their lines, whether unstrung, strung, or fully drawn.

Have you done any measured shooting with either, or both?

Great bow !
Allesi , how thick is your horn ( core, sinew ) ?
