I read in a post below that we can order a bow from Ju Yuan Hao? I believed Mr. Steven Selby posted this? Does it still cost $190? What's shipping going to be like to the United States? And what's the wait time? Thanks for your time!

respectfully yours,

Ok, so I talked to Mr. Selby through email, and he says they are making a new design of bow that is take down. Therefore shipping outside will be much easier and cheaper. It will also be much easier to take to the hunt. He says it will be ready in maybe 3 months? Their first prototype is going to Tibetan village for horse archery. Hope everyone who is interested will read this

Is that a modern fiberglass bow?

Is it possible to purchase a horn bow from a traditional Chinese or Mongolian bowyer? I saw a show on the History Channel, that said there were still 2 or 3 bowyers in Mongolia ,making horn bows.
It would special to have a bow from someone who is carrying on a tradition from his family.

Can you confirm that the bow and arrows are come from Juyuahao workshop? OR the bows and arrows are made by Mr. Yang Fuxi himself?
Maybe not? who knows?
The Chinese traditional archery are very expensivey. For the craftsman can only make 40~110 bows one year, but only about 40~50 bows are good enough.
and the shipping cost will be expensive too.
I think it is not a easy way to get a chinese traditional bow.
