Organisation of folder Training and Competition
Dear Stephen and Atarn Members
Dont you think that if Training and Competition folder will be divided into Regional subfolders it will be more life in?
I think that it is lot of good archery gatherings around the world but usually when some of us are browsing this folder can see only Asia events, some in the States and one in Germany but mostly Asia and probably we dont want to bother readers with local events. At first look folder seems to be Asia events exclusive.
Best Regards from Poland

Hi TradArcher,
I understand your point but there may be board limitations on the forum to prevent sub categories within a category. An easy work around would be to sticky posts under regional titles eg...
'Horsearchery Competition...Poland'
That way any coming event in the country mentioned can be posted in a place that is a little more specific.
Obviously there has to be an initial post of a coming event before it can be stickied.
Edit: Typo.

Orda Khan,
Yes you are absolutely right, that will be the simpliest way to do it. If we will get Stephen's blessing :)

Sorry, but I have opposite view. ATARN is dedicated to Asian archery not Paneuropean archery. In Europe take place plenty of Archery meetings in Poland, Germany, Czech, England, Slovakia, France, Hungary etc. etc. Fact that some (may be 3 or 5) people in any meeting use thumb draw is for me insufficient for litter ATARNet forum. There are a lot of good places to put information about trad. archery meetings not connected directly to Asian Archery.
Different matter is for example WTAF or similar projects.

What's the difference?
What's the difference?
Hmm
I see differences between http://198.170.108.27/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=145 - meeting based on Asian and European Nomad and Japan horse archery
and Viking Festival from http://198.170.108.27/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=787
I had competitions like Viking Festival and a lot of similar historical meetings (there are thousands in Europe every year) in mind.
