Splicing on Siyah
Is there a best way to splice on a siyah?
I am going to be trying to make a bow based on Moshchevaya Balka/ hunnic bow and I plan to splice the siyah to the limbs, the plans I found here on the forum show a triangle splice, but not in very much detail.
Does anyone have any drawings or good pictures of a splice like this or any other kinds of splice? Or just a good description of how these splices should fit.
thanks,

to cut a (10 cm long,3cm wide) V shape on both side of the core and sharpen the siyahs to put into the V shape.glue them together at last.
No need to saw a v splice. I made my this way,

Thanks, I think I will use the v-splice because thats what is on the plans' and since I have a reletivly short working arm I don't want to shorten it more by having the siyah extend down so far.
Thanks for the information,
