Hi all!

I am new to the forum and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Robert, I live in Sweden and I have been into archery for about a year, mainly traditional longbow. I am also very interested in the archery of the old Ottomans, and I recently received my Gr?zer Trukish bow that I am very pleased with. I have problems grasping the thumb draw though, but I aim to work on it. Any tips are very welcome.

Hi Robert,

The best thing to do would be for you to make a video of yourself and post it. That way people will have something to work on. Also skim through the technique forum: http://198.170.108.27/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=3
You propably will find some answers there.

Welcome Robert!

I have a good friend who lives in Sweden and is an avid thumb release archer! I'll tell him you've posted here. Maybe you live nearby and can shoot together sometime!
