Sinew is available as dog chew:
(I am not aware of the quality of the stuff, it may be overdried and
unsitable, but the price is cheap. If the sinew cannot be pounded, without it going to powder it is unsuitable.)
http://www.zuchtweb.de/shop/advanced_se ... e&x=14&y=7
Some babelfish translations:
Sinew = Sehne
Deer = Hirsch
dried bunch chords = getrocknete Strau?ensehnen
Chewing fun = Kauspa?
Moose(no hits)=Elche
If you have experience from this or other petshop sinew please tell un about it.

I known to work source from GB.

Us based companies, such as moscow hide and fur do not generally ship outside us, due to some federal byrocracy.

Why not go for the german hunters? There you can get complete legs. You only have to cut out the sinews, clean them from flesh and dry them.
Costs: in most cases: zero!

Hi Stefan,
I just saw your posting. I think you know Hudson?s Bay?.. However, I also have Red deer leg sinew (enough!).
They are calibrated in two different length: 26cm (-0,5/+1cm) and 28cm (-0,5/+1cm). That is very carefully calibrated compared to the usual 6?-8? or 8?-10? you can read here and there?.
They are air dried and very fresh so that they are very easy to work with. They pound and split easily ? sometimes you just have to bend and/or twist them and they start to turn white :-)
I?ll try to get some pics on here tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

28cm (-0,5/+1cm) sized sinew samples
That?s how they look like before drying.
