That picture show was great! thanks for sharing that.

I was going to comment that the big bay with no markings was nice then I rewatched it and noticed he was a Spanish horse, I have a soft spot for them.

What kind of bows and arrows are ok to use? Weight?

Only bows without arrow shelves, shooting windows, or pistol grips.
No FITA-Recurve-Bow with sights and of course no Compound.
The best bows are horsebows of traditional style such as Asian, Middle Eastern, or Native American.
Please use only target arrowheads. Broadheads are not allowed.
The weight of the bow is depending on your strength.
I recommend 30 - 40 lbs(pounds).

Hi, I got your e-mail and pictures, wonderful! I enjoyed to see their costumes, equipment and technique. It's great to see so many archers from so many countries. My favorite archer is UK's Cleo

Nothing short of a disasater will keep me away from next year's event!
But I'll drop by at Burg Satzvey at least, though the question of participation or not I'll handle on the Fletchers-Corner-forum

It looks as if a fabulous time was had by all. I am a bit crestfallen that I could not attend, such as luck would have it I will be in Germany for two weeks starting October 2nd, a bit late for this year, but there is always next year.
Would love to hear from any of you in Germany in the off chance that I could visit with you while in Germany. I will be staying in Plietzhausen with my Master Smith and family.
