Balancing
In balancing a hornbow,what do most people use.I have been balancing mine today and found a heating pad that you put on sore muscles and joints , very helpful. There is practically no chance of overheating the area on the bow you need to correct.It works great for me.I'm curious what others use.
I used the electric element of a kitchen stove to get the bend right.

In China, they use a simple, electric heating plate. There is more risk of over-heating; but they check carefully by hand to make sure it's not too hot.
