What happan with my yuan bow? been completed last October.... Not much... Just on Teplics at this stage... Will strung it and shoot it next month... Whatever,I can't wait for an year for this...

Again, I'm very proud of it.... The bow I like most is it doesn't look like a Hungarian bow at all.....It is classic Chinese.... Something on an old painting after 1,000 years comes alive again....

Hurry!! these pictures will be removed in one week..(My space is almost full)

Good looking bow , Yokhua. No bone plates ? How you finishid - birch burk ?

I'm sorry, Do you mean bone plates on grip? or bone plates on tips?

A piece of small camel bone has been inserted in the tip...

As for the finish...... birch bark could be a good idea, or snake skin?

I think I'll leave the decoraction to an expert, not me...

I see bone piece in tip. I mean all , but mostly grip plates. Unlike you ,i was happy if i can decorated my bows . I am painter artist and this is funy for me. I mean that birch burk is easiest and historical right way for you. But snake skyn , or ray skin in kasan or grip is not bad idea.

Not to heavy, I guess. From the look of the limbs it will come out at 40-50#.
