Korean Horn Bow for Sale

This bow was custom-made by Korean master bowyer Geuk-hwan Park several years ago for my son. It is quite unique and special due to a few reasons.
  • Master Park was the bowyer in my video The Way of the Bow: The Korean Horn Bow, which is well-known around the world.

Master Park was paralyzed in 2002, so his bows are generally no longer available at any price. He was an award-winning bowyer prior to that.

The siyahs of the bow are made from osage orange, while other Korean horn bows have theirs made from mulberry or black locust.

The belly has a very high quality horn with a very distinctive tiger tail pattern.
The bow is in wonderful condition. It has not been shot for a few years, but has been stored in the club's warming cabinet. Before it is shot again, it should go through a heat conditioning to make sure the sinew, horn, and glue are pliable.

Korean horn bows are wonderful shooters; however, due to the nature of the bows, they need to be handled by those who are familiar with them. Stringing/shooting them incorrectly can lead to a broken bow. I am not responsible for any damage.

I am asking $1,000; as the bow belongs to my son, the money goes towards his doctoral studies expenses.

Payment can be by PayPal (goongdo (at) hotmail.com) or bank check (USD drawn on a US bank to my US address).
