Phragmites / a potentially catastrophic idea
Hey everyone
I've lost the thread about phragmites (I just haven't checked all the threads) and was wondering if it might be suitable to make a core out of. I'm having difficulty finding wood broad enough / long enough and easy enough to work with so thought perhaps of layering down bundles of reed and weaving or gluing them into an appropriately sized and shaped core, then layering the sinew and horn on top.
So is this actually as bad an idea as I originally thought it would be ...?
