This bow is 56" ntn, with oak ears taken from a natural bend and spliced to the core. After shooting in it has 7" of reflex left
another couple of pics. I thought this type of bow would be typical of a basic inexpensive bow that the materials could be found anywhere in asia. Although I dont know much about historical evidence!! It shoots reasonably well, but in retrospect I would have made it shorter

Ipe and boo, that?s it. I don?t think that horn will make a better bow.
It is possible to make a greater reflex, but take care, too much reflex makes a bow unstable.
