made bamboo strings like sinew strirngs
the bamboo soak in two liquor boil and dry and solarizationafter and rain about 8 months, i am near give up do anything on these bamboo, a fortuitous event by bored test , these bamboo can dry in one day, and after soak the bamboo can make more fiber like the sinew fibers,the bamboo fibers dry and damp very fast in 10 minute

i used to try bamboo piece as sinew,and only to find it is not so easy as sinew . only when the bow doesn't have a great curve(3- layer bammboo longbow ,for example),does the bamboo piece work well.
so,even for a bamboo without horn, i would rather try real sinew. sinew is not expensive in Taobao(80 yuan for a KG--enough for at least 5-10bows). :D

the bamboo fiber is not strong than the sinew fiber, it like the cotton thread,
it is 10-15CM break form 80 cm long bamboo only has one node
wk1234wk, i know peoples feel i am strange and want to made a bow form the dream or mythos , why made the bamboo fibers? i see the bamboo only has fiber and node exist in beijing juyuanhao, it not need use hand make the bamboo fibers, and some sinew layer and strings on old hornbow is very stronger , i has use hand test it elasticity, it like hard bamboo or steel strings, never i can made some same effect i see but i rether use all time made it , not others, wk1234wk, can you remove the sinew layer form the bow?all my sinew back i can use hand easy or hard remove, use a knife insert to sinew layer got same fiber you can hold, then draw it you can find the result
