bighorn sheep horns?
i've got a couple pairs of water buffalo horns, but i wonder what other horns are good? In BC we get bighorn sheep not too far from where i live. Next year i'd like to hunt a couple, if their horns are suitable for composites.
Big horn sheep horns were used by my late friend, Dr Charles Grayson, to make composite bows. The main problem was cutting out the strips from the horns. The structure of the horn was prone to take a band saw blade in directions you did not want it to go. Once they were cut out, they had to be straightened. This was also a lot of work.

how about desert sheep? is that the same animal? I just saw a skull and horns on the big auctions site for 35.
